Skiff Auxiliary offering health-related scholarships

March 2, 2018

The Skiff Auxiliary is proud to have been offering scholarships to local area residents since the late 1950s. Throughout the years, the number of scholarships offered has increased proportionately to the generosity of donors and funds raised by the Auxiliary in their gift shop at the hospital.

Auxiliary scholarships are available for Jasper County residents who are pursuing an education in a health-related field.Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, academic achievement and other factors.  Applications are available in the Skiff Human Resources department, as well as at area high school guidance offices and college financial aid offices.

Applications must be received by Skiff by March 30. Applicants are responsible for seeing that the application and all supporting documents are submitted by the deadline.

Additional information regarding the scholarships can be obtained by contacting Skiff Auxiliary scholarship chairperson Barb Barr at (641) 521-0512.
