No matter what surgical procedure you are considering, you expect the best possible medical care. Skiff Medical Center provides that level of care with a skilled, compassionate surgical staff backed by the latest technology. Whether your procedure is performed on an outpatient basis or if you need to spend the night in the hospital, your safety and comfort are our primary concerns.

Skiff Medical Center voluntarily undergoes regular surveys by the Health Facilities Accreditation Program (HFAP). This accreditation requires that we pass strict guidelines for equipment, staff, hospital access, and anesthesia administration. We strive to provide our patients with the most pleasant, safe, and positive experience possible.
The department of surgery includes the operating rooms (OR), Recovery Room, and Outpatient Surgery Center. We provide three surgical suites in the OR and additional rooms are set aside for cytoscopic procedures. The Outpatient Surgery Center has 14 patient care bays.
Select registered nurses, surgical technologists and certified nurse assistants staff the Skiff surgery department. The Post-Anesthesia Care Unit has six patient care areas for post-anesthesia recovery, and is staffed by specialized registered nurses. Our anesthesia service is staffed by four Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) who are highly skilled in anesthesia administration.
