As a service to our community, we offer our Skiff Cares Program that provides financial assistance with medical bills for those who qualify. The program is offered to our patients who meet certain levels of income. In addition we have a program to assist any of our patients who are uninsured. To help with billing, we ask that you:
- Provide accurate and complete information.
- Be aware of your insurance company`s requirements for pre-approval of services.
- Be aware of your insurance benefits. Please call your insurance company for clarification needed.
- Have your insurance cards available to present to the registration staff when you check in.
- If you are uninsured, please 787-5433 to inquire about our prompt pay discount.
Skiff Medical Center will:
- Bill your insurance company if you provide us with the necessary information.
- Provide you (at your request) with an itemized bill for services rendered to you and billed to your insurance company.
- Bill you for co-pays, deductibles, and any items not covered by your insurance.
- Mail a monthly balance statement to you.
- Provide a team of billing personnel to assist you. Billing Office personnel can be reached at (641) 792-1664.
Payment options:
- Cash, checks, money orders, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express are accepted. We also accept MasterCard or Visa debit cards.
- Ability to automatically deduct authorized dollars from bank accounts.
- Installment payment plans available.
