RN – ED/SCU

 We have a part-time position that will work within your schedule. This offers two shifts per week and one shift every other weekend. 
 
 RN , part-time – 56 hours per pay period
 2 shifts per week – 3-11:30 p.m. and every other weekend 7 a.m.-7:30 p.m. shift.

The registered nurse plans and provides direct and indirect care in the emergency care setting. He/she coordinates care with other disciplines, consults with the family or significant others and collaborates with the physician on the patient’s behalf. Able to triage safely, rapidly, and accurately, every patient that enters the emergency care setting. Able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment. The RN assesses, implements and evaluates nursing care. 

• Holds a current Iowa RN license.
• Previous experience in an Emergency Department or critical care unit is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year hospital RN Experience required.
• Demonstrates nursing knowledge by using sound critical thinking and judgment skills.
• Able to establish priorities and organize effectively.
• Demonstrated excellent team work skills.
