Skiff's registered, licensed dietitians will provide you with sound nutritional advice, individualized to your specific needs. A session includes a complete nutritional evaluation of your current eating habits. Recommendations and goals will be developed according to your individual needs. You'll learn how to incorporate healthy habits into your lifestyle, which will improve your health and energy level.

healthy cooking classes

Each year, Skiff sponsors a number of cooking classes to help you provide delicious and healthy meals. Taught by registered and licensed dietitians, these classes provide recipes, samples, nutritional information and time-saving tips.

lunch-and-learn programs

On an annual basis, Skiff Medical Center hosts a series of informative lunch-and-learn programs, many of which deal with women's health issues. Programs have included menopause, perimenopause, osteoporosis, hormone replacement therapy, arthritis, fibromyalgia, women and heart disease, parenting skills, bedwetting, substance abuse, sleep apnea and hearing loss.

Help is also available for women with gestational diabetes.
